SMITH AGENCY RECEIVES REGIONAL ADDY AWARDS
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (May 1, 2008)—SMITH, a fully-integrated advertising and marketing agency headquartered in Fayetteville, N.C. with offices in Raleigh, N.C. and Sarasota, Fla., has won two awards from The Suncoast Advertising Federation, the local Sarasota/Bradenton representative for the Addy Awards.
The Suncoast ADDY Awards are the first of a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). Local award winners will move onto the District Four competition consisting of agency entries in Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Winners from District competitions then move onto the National Addy selections.
The ADDY Awards competition is the industry's largest and most representative competition, recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide.
SMITH was awarded an Amy Award in mixed-media campaigns for the Hilton Head Island Branded Campaign in the consumer regional/national category. Amy Awards are given to the highest scoring entry within each of the major divisions of categories.
The agency was also recognized with a Silver Addy Award for the same campaign, which was designed and executed by SMITH for the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Visitor and Convention Bureau.
