SMITH AWARDED OCEAN ISLE CONTRACT
AGENCY EXPERIENCING GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT IN TOURISM SECTOR
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (Aug 28, 2007)— SMITH, a fully-integrated advertising and marketing agency with offices in Raleigh and Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Sarasota, Florida, , was recently awarded the advertising and marketing contract for Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. SMITH will be directing a multi-faceted campaign to drive tourism to the area with services including branding, ad campaign design and implementation, collateral design, media planning and placement and interactive marketing.
Ocean Isle Beach is located on the southern North Carolina coastline. A part of North Carolina’s Brunswick Islands , this coastal barrier island was incorporated as the Town of Ocean Isle Beach in 1959. The island is approximately seven miles long and provides a family beach environment.
In addition to Ocean Isle Beach, SMITH, a veteran-agency in the tourism industry, is experiencing a surge in growth and development with new and current destinations. Most recently, SMITH was awarded contract renewal for the Brunswick County Tourism Development Authority, valued at $1.1 million.
