SMITH AWARDED COMPREHENSIVE REAL ESTATE AND RESORT DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT



FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (Sept. 25, 2007)— SMITH, a fully-integrated advertising and marketing agency with offices in Raleigh and Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Sarasota, Florida, was recently awarded the advertising and marketing contract for The Pearl, a new residential and resort development surrounding The Pearl Golf Links, which sits astride both the historic fishing village of Calabash and Sunset Beach, N.C.

SMITH has been retained by The Pearl Development Company to plan and implement an all-encompassing advertising and marketing program, which includes media planning and buying, branding and research, ad campaign creation, Web site design, sales center design and ongoing strategy development and consultation. Already under construction, The Pearl is slated to open in the summer of 2008.

“With comprehensive agency experience in real estate development and our knowledge of the area through our work with the Brunswick County TDA, we believe this is a strong partnership for both SMITH and The Pearl,” remarked SMITH President Gary Smith.
