SMITH AGENCY AWARDED FOUR INTERNATIONAL ADRIAN AWARDS



FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (Dec. 8, 2008)—SMITH, a fully-integrated advertising and marketing agency with offices in Fayetteville and Raleigh, North Carolina, and Sarasota, Fla., was recently recognized with four Adrian Awards from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) on behalf of agency campaigns for Hilton Head Island and the Charlotte Harbor Visitor and Convention Bureau.

Of the nearly 1,300 Adrian Award entries submitted this year, the Hilton Head and Charlotte Harbor campaigns were judged as some of the best in their entry category by expert hospitality, travel, tourism and media professionals.

The Hilton Head Island campaigns won three separate awards, the first being a silver Adrian in the advertising and CVB positioning for the Alliance Campaign. SMITH also won a bronze in the advertising for group and sales brochures for the Alliance Online Brochure. Lastly, the agency was awarded another bronze in brochure advertising for the 2008 Vacation Planner.

The Charlotte Harbor campaign also garnered a bronze Adrian Award in the Web marketing division in E-mail services for the "Our Good Nature" dialog management ePromotion program.

The Adrian Awards are presented by the HSMAI and are aimed to honor creative brilliance and best practices in hospitality, travel and tourism related marketing. In its fifth decade, the HSMAI Adrian Awards has grown into the world's most renowned and prestigious advertising, public relations and web marketing competition, specifically tailored for the travel industry.
