ADVERTISING AGENCY PRESIDENT SELECTED AS ADRIAN AWARDS JUDGE
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (Dec. 28, 2009)—Gary T. Smith, president and CEO of SMITH, recently selected from an international list of nominees to be a judge for the 2009 Adrian Awards. The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Adrian Awards are aimed to honor creative brilliance and best practices in hospitality, travel and tourism related marketing. In its fifth decade, the HSMAI Adrian Awards has grown into the world’s most renowned and prestigious advertising, public relations and web marketing competition, specifically tailored for the travel industry.
This year's judging took place in September and October during which time Smith evaluated over 30 entries online. To recognize judge efforts, HSMAI will acknowledge SMITH from the stage at the Adrian Awards Gala held February 1, 2010, at the New York Marriott Marquis, as well as in the souvenir program book distributed at the Gala.
